Corel® WinDVD® with support for Intel® Centrino® Processor Technology featuring 45nm Intel® Core(TM)2 Duo Processor improves standard and high-definition video playback with faster performance and lower CPU usage.

OTTAWA, Canada – January 7, 2008 – Corel Corporation (NASDAQ:CREL) (TSX:CRE), a leading developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software, today announced that Corel® WinDVD® now supports Intel® Centrino® processor technology featuring 45nm Intel® Core(TM)2 Duo Processor. Intel is demonstrating Corel WinDVD optimized for Intel Centrino processor technology at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). CES is being held January 7-10, 2008 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Intel is located in the Central Hall at booth 7153.

Corel WinDVD with updated support for the newest Intel Centrino processor technology, delivers improvements in playback performance for standard and high-definition video content, including the latest advances in Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD movies.
