Spring Training and Networking for Videographers

In a perfect compliment to baseball’s Spring Training, The 4EVER Group is bringing Videographer Spring Training to Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York in late March, 2006.  By bringing Lance Gray and Ben Balser to the Northeast, The 4EVER Group has responded to the requests of the event video industry.

On Monday, March 27, Ben Balser will present the first of three full-day FCP training sessions in suburban Philadelphia, at the Crowne Plaze Valley Forge.  Balser is FCP Version 5 certified, and his “down home” teaching style is always a hit.  The Crowne Plaza is where the regular GPVA meetings are held.

The 4EVER Group has worked closely with the leadership of both the North Jersey Videographers Association (NJVA) and the Professional Videographers of Central Jersey (PVCJ) to bring an outstanding day of education and networking on Tuesday, March 28, 2006.

In addition to Balser’s workshop, Lance Gray, from Pixel Pops in Dallas, will host a full-day workshop to provide a tutorial on creating graphics that add value to your productions, and strengthen your profits.

The New Jersey programs will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, in Edison NJ.  Starting at 7:00pm, there will be a special NJVA-PVCJ networking event at the same hotel.  Both Balser and Gray will have brief presentations during this program that will be different from their daytime subject matter.

“Our associations have been discussing a combined meeting for some time now,” said Robert Allen, President of the NJVA.  “We’re pleased to be able to do this in conjunction with The 4EVER Group.”  Anyone may attend the daytime workshops, or the evening program, so long as they register.

Finally, on Wednesday, March 29, both Balser and Gray will present their full-day workshops at the Long Island Marriott in Uniondale, home of the monthly LIVA meetings.

Registration for the workshops is open now.  Members of any local videographers association can register in advance for only $95.00, and student discounts are available.  Full details of the day time workshops, including teaching points,  are available in the registration area of The 4EVER Group’s web site, www.4EVERGroup.org.  Registration for the workshops is available behind the “Spring Training” button on The 4EVER Group Home Page.
